Here is a link to the Recommended driver upgrade, if registry tweaks aren’t stomachable: h10025.www1.hp.com Note - You won’t hear a sound difference in the video on a laptop without headphones, or on a PC without some good speakers (ie 2 speakers and some kind of subwoofer). Credits to Fishhook for the fixes in this video, and Jokomoto for first diving into the registry. Both post on HP.com support site. More details concerning this fix will be posted on myhpmini.com forums, as soon as the admins let me on the board. NOTE: This registry mod was made only because the Driver update from HP gave me some problems, (Slow playback, distortion.) Other people have used the upgrade without problems, this is just an alternative I thought I’d share.

This small, portable size is perfect, beautiful and subtle, but still large enough for easy use. It also makes a great alternative to a notebook, which I think is just low. It works well for one student or a person who travels a lot and would prefer not to carry a laptop heavier.
It works nice and quiet and is very user-friendly. Battery life is about. six hours, which is more than enough.

I have owned a HP 2133 Mini Note and Acer 1410, but 1000HE Asus Netbook seems the perfect solution. The size of the device is not much bigger than a 10.2 "netbook, but the high resolution 11.6" screen makes it a pleasure to use for 50 + eyes. The performance of the Core 2 Solo is much better than the Atom with only a slight decrease in battery life. The battery would be even better (8 hours to 6 hours) and the battery of 5,600 amp was made available in North America as in Europe. The 1410 is thinner than any of my other netbooks and weighs about the same.
